What does your website do for Golf Professionals?

Our website helps the Golf Professional advertise their services for golf lessons to the wider general public. It gives the Golf Professional the opportunity to focus on their particular skills and teaching ability with specific emphasis on the Professional and not the Golf Club where they work. It also gives them the opportunity to add news, promotions, photos, videos and other information within a six page personal profile. Learn more here.

 

Can you guarantee that when you type in my local town for lessons your website will come up?

Our aim is to be on the first page of Google for all counties in the UK and a range of large towns within these counties. Please contact us for a full list of towns.

 

Is there a link to the Golf Club where the Professional works so that I can look at it?

Yes, this is on the personal information page within their profile. The link can be found under the location map at the bottom of the golf club address. If there is no link present then it’s likely the golf club/centre doesn’t have a website.

 

Is there a link to the personal website of the Professional so that I can look at it?

Yes, this is on the personal information page within his profile. The link called ‘visit my website’ can be found under the contact phone numbers adjacent to their photo. If there is no link present then it’s likely the golf pro doesn’t have a website.

 

Will your website generate me more business as a Golf Pro?

This website is totally dedicated to increasing the amount of customers who book lessons with you. In order to support this it is vital that the content on your profile is comprehensive and up to date. Once your profile is completed and live, new customers can view it and contact you. Whilst our website will be high in Google it is up to you to give new customers all the information they need. Please feel free to contact us to find out more.

Yes trainees are able to sign up to the website and are encouraged to do so using our special offer. Please view our membership page for more information.

I can’t see the type of lesson I want on the Pro’s profile. Does this mean they don’t do it?

It is always worth contacting the Pro with your specific requirements either by phone or by using the contact form. Golf Professionals would welcome your enquiry and be happy to help.

 

If I have forgotten my password, how long will I have to wait before receiving the email telling me how to reset it?

The email is sent almost immediately. If however, you have any problems with this please contact us via our contact page.

 

How long will my membership last?

If you are a website member your membership will last as long as you want it to.  If you are a Golf Professional Member, your membership is on a rolling 12 month contract. You may cancel subsequent years in month 11 of the current year. Please contact us for more information.

 

Payment

How much does it cost to become a Golf Pro member and have a profile?

Becoming a website member is free. However charges apply if you are a Golf Professional. Learn more here or please contact us for more information.

 

How do I pay?

All payments are taken via Direct Debit after you complete the form on the become a Golf Professional Member page.

 

What is the procedure for cancelling my Golf Pro Membership?

You will need to give us at least one months notice in writing if you wish to cancel your next year of membership. Please contact us for more information.

 

Do you charge VAT?

Yes all prices quoted on this website are exclusive of VAT. For your reference our VAT number is 106040373.

 

Can I claim back the VAT?

You can claim back the VAT if you or your Golf Club/Centre are paying for your membership and are VAT registered.

 

Will the website costs increase in the future?

We will always strive to keep our costs to a bare minimum. If you are a Golf Pro Member you will always be informed prior to us putting any prices up

 

Can I pay by cheque though the post?

Unfortunately we cannot accept cheques or cash through the post. Keeping all our payments through Direct Debit helps us keep our costs to a minimum.

 

Feedback

What happens if a customer posts a negative comment on a Golf Professional’s Profile?

All feedback will be moderated by Brighten Early Golf Lessons before it goes live and we will contact the Golf Professional should they receive any negative feedback.

 

How do I leave feedback about a Golf Professional?

You will need to become a Website Member before being allowed to leave feedback. Once you are a member simply type the name of the Golf Professional you wish to leave feedback about in the top search field marked ‘Search for Golf Pro by Name’ and then click the orange ‘Leave feedback’ button once on their profile.

 

Will all the customer feedback/comments/discussions go live on the website immediately?

Feedback about Golf Professionals is moderated by Brighten Early Lessons before it goes live to ensure it is not offensive.

My Profile (Golf Pro’s only)

Can I upload photos/videos/tuition/tips videos?

Yes, you can upload both images and video once you are logged into your profile. You can do this under the ‘My Profile’ tab.

 

Do I need to put all my personal information down when asked?

No there are some fields where personal information is not mandatory to ensure your profile is live. However it is in your interest to put as much relevant information about yourself in order to attract new customers.

 

If a customer viewed my profile, how would they then get in contact with me?

Your personal information page will contain contact details, but there is also a tab called ‘Contact this Pro’ which gives landline and mobile numbers as well as a contact form that can be completed and emailed direct to your email address.  You will receive the email shortly afterwards and can reply to the customer’s enquiry.

 

Can I leave special offers on my profile?

If you have various lesson packages and special offers, please put these in the ‘My Prices and Offers’ tab within your profile. If you have offers for equipment in the Pro Shop please put these in your ‘news’ page.

 

Am I able to post any news on the website for everyone to read?

Yes, information including news can be read by anyone who visits our website. Additionally any news added within your profile automatically goes onto our Facebook and Twitter pages.

 

Is it simple to update my profile? e.g. place a different special offers or change some of my details

Once you are logged in you can change your profile 24 hours a day for free. Just follow the guidelines and edit the section you wish to change. Remember to press the ‘Update My Professional Profile’ button anytime you make changes otherwise they won’t be saved. Please contact us if we can be of any help.

 

What do I do if I change my place of work?

This is very simple.  Immediately change the address, location, map and contact details under the ‘My Profile’ and ‘My Location’ tabs and the website will recognise your updated information.

 

What happens if I work at various locations?

In your profile you may set that you offer golf lessons at up to four locations. These will then create seperate locations and plot marks on the map for you.

 

Which towns do I select to link to when setting up my profile?

Your choice of these is extremely important and you should select the three largest towns in your area that are the nearest to your place of work.

 

There is more than one PGA Professional working at my golf club/centre. Are they all allowed a profile on the website?

Yes any PGA Golf Professional or Trainee can have a profile on Brighten Early Golf Lessons. 

 

Who is responsible for updating my profile details?

Once your profile is ‘live’ on Brighten Early Golf Lessons it is your responsibility to update the information.  It is in your interest to keep your profile as up to date as possible and add news about what offers you have. You can also add details of future golf events on your news page.

 

How much space is there to list all my lessons, offers and news?

The space is unlimited so that you can add as many as you like

 

Can I pay my setup fee and monthly membership fee in one lump sum?

No the membership is paid on the monthly basis. Please contact us if we can be of any help.

 

What sort of information should I write in my personal profile?

View the profile of David Adams for guidance and contact us at anytime if we can be of any help.

 

Why isn’t my profile live?

This could be for a number of reasons. For example you have not completed the compulsory fields, you have not set your profile to ‘live’ or you have problems with your payments. Please contact us if we can be of any help.

 

Should I get my customer’s permission if they appear in photos or videos I want to upload particularly where it contains children?

Yes, it is always advisable to ask your customer’s permission and particularly parents of children that appear in your photos or video.

 

Can I update my profile at any time?

Yes, this is the beauty of our website. You can log in using your email address/password and update the information at any time for free. We actively encourage you to treat it like your own website where you have the facility to add, delete and edit information.
